Workshop on Operator Theory is being organised in Bhubaneswar at Institute for Mathematics and its Applications (IMA) in month of December, 2009 on behalf of NBHM
Brief description of the school:
In this school, basic and advanced topics in Complex Analysis including Riemann Surfaces and Topological methods in Complex analysis, Harmonic Function Theory and Complex analytic methods in DE, Complex Dynamics will be covered. Problem solving sessions are an integral part of the course. The lectures will be delivered in the morning, and afternoons are devoted to supervised problem sessions.
Eligibility for participation:
Applications are invited from lecturers in mathematics who have passed NET/SET or equivalent Examination and who are teaching at a college/university. Students doing M.Phil. may also be considered for the school. Teachers below the age of 30 will be given first preference.
Financial Support:
Selected participants will be paid III-AC return train fare from their place of work/home town to the venue by shortest route and provided with accommodation and local hospitality.
