The Teachers' Enrichment Workshop (TEW) was held at the Department of Mathematics, IIT Guwahat during December 14-19, 2015. Nineteen college teachers from colleges affiliated to Gauhati University and situated in and around Guwahati participated in the Workshop. Five resource persons, all of whom are faculty members of the Department of mathematics, IIT Guwahati, delivered the lectures.

Four short courses in Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations and Numerical Analysis were conducted along with a discussion-cum-tutorial session on each day of the Workshop. The course contents Were kept at the undergraduate level keeping in mind the needs of the participating teachers.
Syllabus:
The syllabus for each topic will overlap with the syllabus of BSc (Hons) in Mathematics of Gauhati University as well as Mathematics-I and Mathematics-II courses of B.Tech programme at IIT Guwahati.

How to Reach
Regular bus service (run by IIT Guwahati) from Panbazar, Guwahati, to IIT Guwahati.
- Morning Bus Timing (from Panbazar): 6:45 AM, 8:15 AM, 10:00 AM The bus starts from Panbazar. One can catch the bus at stoppages at Panbazar overbridge (Lakhtokia corner),
Panbazar Water Tank, Bharalumukh, Kamakhya Gate, Maligaon, Adabari Tiniali, Jalukbari and Jaiguru.
These are GREEN BUSES run by Green Valley with IITG sign. The bus at 8:15 AM will be most suitable for the participants. - Afternoon Bus Timing (from IITG to Panbazar): 5:00 PM, 6:45 PM, 8:00 PM
Those who plan to come by cars, they can park the vehicles at the parking place near the Mechanical Engineering Department in the Academic Complex.
